Gloucester Cathedral

The room we were supposed to have our  lecture in was booked for a board meeting. Our tutor took us down to the Cathedral to look at a few things related to the old testament. Some of the intricate artwork of the stained glass windows of pictures that took us through the Bible. Would have been great for the school children to ponder at as they went from the school through to the main Cathedral for choir.

The artwork on the floor tiles that you look at as you go up for communion also tell a story, they were very mindful of illiterate people when building the cathedral, how mindful are we today? Does the church expect people who come to be literate, this was the question left on my mind.

“My spelling is Wobbly. It's good spelling but it Wobbles, and the letters get in the wrong places.”
